The information contained in this manual is intended as a reference guide for beginners and members of the University of Melbourne Kendo Club. As a kendo beginner, if you are ever unsure of anything you should always check with a senior member of the club. You will find that the seniors are only too willing to help and provide advice; after all, everyone was new to kendo at one time.
